Paris Nouvelle Vague

Created in 1999 and enhanced with new pieces since 2013, the Paris Nouvelle Vague collection offers an unprecedented interpretation of jewelry-making codes.

Presented in June 1999, the Paris Nouvelle Vague collection pays homage to France’s capital city, drawing inspiration from Parisian architecture, monuments and haute couture. Using volume-building effects, gold embodies the City of Light’s artistic vibrancy in the form of miniature beads summoned in abundance on cuff bracelets and exquisite latticework necklaces. The emblematic piece – a ring adorned with a festive bouquet of golden beads that ripple when in movement – perfectly illustrates the collection’s whimsical spirit.

In both 2013 and 2015, the collection expanded to include new creations celebrating Paris and its aura. Gold is fashioned into various textures – guilloché, hammered, twisted and openwork – and associated with in fine and precious stones, reviving Jeanne Toussaint’s beloved tradition of mixing noble materials. Gems fan out from the gold latticework of a necklace, playfully evoking the love locks on the Pont des Arts, and enhance the lush volume of cocktail rings.
